My Songs not Sortable
Cannot display in line-item, tabular format or sort by last played date. In v2.5, I use this to quickly go back to songs I have recently played. In v3, I need to scroll down until I get to the song I want. Minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
Request: Have a selection that allows songs to be displayed in a list, and have that list sortable by the various columns (e.g., Title, Composer, Artist, Date, Difficulty).

No longer shows what I was working on last
It no longer shows where I left off last time. Have to navigate again. Would be nice to maybe pin what you are currently working on. Would also be nice to pin favorites.

Can't set section to loop on touchscreen
Click on looping menu button a section of music is selected but I cannot change the selection. If I hover over start and end bars a tiny arrow appears that look like they would allow editing but as soon as I click near they go away.

Scroll bar
The scroll bar in the windows app is much too thin especially on a desktop. I use a touch screen and it is frustrating and distracting when you cannot easily scroll.

Latency
Compared to the old Windows app, the delay between pressing a piano key and hearing the note played by the app's internal synthesizer is much longer. On my particular PC, the delay in the old app was barely tolerable, but with the beta version it's now unusable. This is a big problem when trying to use Autoplay, and for people who need to turn down their piano volume and turn up the PG app's internal piano in order to use the PG app with headphones (which is the case for many users with pianos with no audio input support).

Enhancement Request to introduce a Practice Mode like PianoMarvel
Operating System = Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, SP1
Computer = Intel Core i7 CPU @3.40GHz, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro M4000
Keyboard = Roland RD-88I would like Playground Sessions to have a Practice Mode like PianoMarvel.
PianoMarvel has a Practice Mode and a Play Mode.
In Practice Mode, there is no set tempo. Rather, the program waits for you to study the notation and press the right key before advancing to the next note. I find this immensely useful while learning to sight read. I don’t feel rushed to keep up with a tempo.

Identical notes in adjacent measures connected via a tie incorrectly scored
Let's say you have 5 measures each containing the same whole note (C). The 5 notes are tied together with a tie or slur. If I get the note wrong in the first measure, the other 4 are scored as wrong even if I correct the error and hold the key down before the end of the first measure. This results in a lower accuracy score then is justified.

There should be 4 separate accuracy scores listed in the section dropdown. One for each of the 4 possible speeds; Normal, Slow, Very Slow, Custom. Custom should reflect the current custom speed.

Toolbar - GONE
Toolbar - GONE!
I was hoping this was only an issue with the iPad, due to lack of screen space. Unfortunately the desktop version is the same even though there is a lot of space.
All of the toolbar icons have been moved to drop-down menus. I've seen new users say how nice and simple and clean it "looks", but that only lasts a day or two before they realize that they need and want to use those functions, and how many clicks and scrolls it takes to interact with the hidden functionality.
This change is beyond bizarre!

Measure numbers should be used to identify sections in the section dropdown
In the Section dropdown, labeling the sections "Into" or "Section #" is not helpful. If I want to go back and revisit a particular section of the tune, I have to guess at which "Section #" to pick in the dropdown that matches the area of the tune I want to work on. "Section X" doesn’t mean anything to me. Measure numbers that appear in the music however are meaningful and would allow me to ID the correct section immediately.

Distorted backing track at speeds that are not Normal, Slow or Very Slow
When stepping up or down from the three default speeds I'm find that the backing track becomes distorted and out of time.
For quite short sections it is hardly noticeable but when playing something a bit longer, after about bar 20 the backing becomes distorted with small sounds that are not part of the backing.
The timing of the backing also seems to get further and further out of time with the music as it goes along.
I'm using Windows 10, Asus touchscreen laptop.

No Feedback on ‘Hands Control’
Click on hands control and select something other than ‘off’. Expectation is that the two hands icon would provide feedback by changing to another color (blue?) for each hand that is currently enabled.

Windows interface.
Have installed the windows beta on surface pro 8.1 and the dashboard blends in well here.
Have also installed it in windows 10 laptop and here the iOS like dashboard seems a bit out of place as the Mac users have noted before.
We are also missing the song store and the record button which were originally available in the windows version; are we going to get it back?
It works better on the surface pro as I can hit the screen to start and stop button which works; on laptop windows 10 I have to use the mouse.

Allow for purchase of all arrangements of a song at a discount
This isn't specific to the Windows app, but neither Song Requests nor other sections seemed like the right place for it: like many customers I was surprised and disappointed to find that my monthly five included "songs" in my membership weren't actually five songs but five arrangements. So to access all of one song's difficulty level, you have to redeem 3-6 "songs" credited to your account.
I think the normal expectation after taking lessons that gradually up the difficulty as you learn that the songs you buy would do the same. That is, you'd start with the rookie versions, progress…

Timing
Beta timing is off. It appears that there is absolutely no wiggle room when hitting the keys. I just did the F scale course. In the beta, I am even using the metronome and I am getting dinged left and right. Doing the same lesson in the stable version I am not getting any errors.

o Select a new section
o Press play & allow the tune to begin playing for a few seconds. Press stop.
o Wait for at least 38 seconds
o Press Play
o Count in begins. After the word go, the tune starts at least a half beat sooner then it should. If you start after 15 seconds or so, it begins correctly.
o Note: I have the audio output of my PC playing through my keyboard. Excessive static begins at about the 38…9 votes
