Count-in timing
Windows Beta V3
Dell Inspiron 15-7579 Win 10
• Timing between count-in and start of tune inconsistent
o Select a new section
o Press play & allow the tune to begin playing for a few seconds. Press stop.
o Wait for at least 38 seconds
o Press Play
o Count in begins. After the word go, the tune starts at least a half beat sooner then it should. If you start after 15 seconds or so, it begins correctly.
o Note: I have the audio output of my PC playing through my keyboard. Excessive static begins at about the 38 second mark.

It seems that either the keyboard driver (Yamaha in my case), or the midi interface goes into "sleep" mode after walking away for a couple of minutes. After this pause, just hitting a key on the piano results in a delay before the sound is emitted, which is the same as the music counting start / display issue. If you hit stop and then restart, everything seems to be aligned.

I'm getting similar behavior - inconsistently, the music starts before the count-in finishes. Just now the music and location sweep started on "set".
This occurred on my first run of the evening. I had the score open for several minutes to play through untimed before starting the interactive playback. Restarting immediately had correct timing. Returning after reading bubbaj's notes (so a long pause) started the playback early again.
My background audio runs through the PC speakers with PGS' piano volume at zero.
