Timing
Beta timing is off. It appears that there is absolutely no wiggle room when hitting the keys. I just did the F scale course. In the beta, I am even using the metronome and I am getting dinged left and right. Doing the same lesson in the stable version I am not getting any errors.

This will stop me using this software. There was control in the old app to set. more forgiving latencies

This is easily the most frustrating and exasperating issue with the software. I often get some notes/chords flagged as correct and others as incorrect (even when striking the same note/chord in the same way and in sync with the beat and scrolling cursor on the practice exercises.
Oftentimes in these cases, I need to lead the visual cursor by a fraction of a second to hit the notes in order to get a green result. This is especially true for the first note/chord displayed, when there is no leading rest.
I have repeatedly asked that someone check whether the window (response interval) for a note to be accepted might be extended slightly so that these lessons can be a bit more accommodating rather than annoying. There are better ways to keep people practicing than to require microsecond precision or randomly flag entered notes as incorrect. This is supposed to be fun, is it not?
P.S. - I really do like PGS, and use it every day.
I am using an HP Envy laptop running Windows 11 with a Yamaha DGX-660 keyboard.

Yup! For sure this is a problem at least on my Windows 11 laptop. Production version good. Beta version very tough to hit the notes. You have to be EXACT! No wiggle room. I mean PRECISE, not musical.
