Distorted backing track at speeds that are not Normal, Slow or Very Slow
When stepping up or down from the three default speeds I'm find that the backing track becomes distorted and out of time.
For quite short sections it is hardly noticeable but when playing something a bit longer, after about bar 20 the backing becomes distorted with small sounds that are not part of the backing.
The timing of the backing also seems to get further and further out of time with the music as it goes along.
I'm using Windows 10, Asus touchscreen laptop.

accompaniment sync is terrible
The audio accompaniment isn't sync'd to the scroll bar. Timing is over half a beat out, so you are forced to play notes 1/2 - 3/4 of a beat early to get the app to show you you've hit the right notes. If you play BY EAR, according to the audio accompaniment, then you'll be over half a beat late, and whilst it will sound right to your ear, the app will tell you every note is wrong/missed.
Tested same part in current app, no issues with timing.

User Preferences
I think it would be a huge benefit to be able to set "user preferences". example-- I don't like using backing tracks but it defaults to on and I have to go in an manually turn them off for each section, lesson song etc. If I could set the user preference to not use backing tracks than that would be a huge help and a lott more effecient. The same with other features such as piano volume, metronome, speed, etc. All these can be set to user preferences/user defaults to personalize the user experience without having to change these with…

space bar start stop
I love the space bar to start and stop, however, when I complete a lesson and the window box for completing the lesson is still open on top of the main lesson window, it might be nice to make it so pressing the space bar doesn't start the lesson while the pop-up box is open.

Set Piano volume level to zero
Use application normally to practice.
Decide you need to hear what it is supposed to sound like. Using hands control, enable left, right, or both hands.
Press ‘Play’
No piano sounds are played. Expected piano sounds to play.
To make this work I must turn on the ‘hands’ control AND then also open settings to set a volume level for the piano sound. My expectation was that selecting that I want to hear the app play the piece using the ‘hands’ control, should automatically set the volume level…7 votes -
Cursor movement speed should be consistent
While new proportional measure width looks great for displaying music, it causes the playback cursor to speed up on wide measures and slow down for narrow measures. While I try to rely on the metronome and backing track for timing, seeing the cursor suddenly speed up gives an unintended visual cue that the tempo has changed.

Metronome resolution - only in increments of 5
Metronome does not have same resolution as in production version. The metronome only increments or decrements by 5 with each + or - press. There is no ability to enter the exact speed you want. The units is selected by the preset version.

Backing track defaults to on
Backing track defaults to on for every segment in lessons and songs. If I turn it off for one lesson than go to the next lesson it defaults to on again and I have to manually turn it off again. If I turn the backing track off then it should stay off till I turn it back on and vice versa.

Hands, repeat, speed, & setting icons should be larger.
This app is frequently used on a touch screen. Please assume that only people who have very fat fingers purchase your app. Give them a very big target to hit.

Saved volume settings not being retained
I turn the backing track on and off occasionally but the volume that I saved in Setting is not retained - it reverts back to default 80%.

Add a tempo preset between Slow and Normal
I like that you added a new Very Slow option. However, I'd really like to see an option between Slow and Normal. Frequently, the jump between the two is too big making it difficult to go up to Normal speed. Go Your Own Way is a good example where Slow is 76 while Normal is 122. An option around 100 would be ideal in this case. I frequently set the tempo in between, but then lose the backing track. Even if the backing track at all tempos works, it would still be nice to have a quick select for a…

start / stop with highest note of keyboard would be nice so you don't have to touch the computer

New Feature to clear note feedback
Provide a method to clear notation feedback. Sometimes I want to go back and practice a section on my own without using the Play button. Currently I advance to the next exercise and then return to the one I want in order to clear the note feedback and leave uncluttered notationn.

Video playback bar isn't accurate
By the time you finish playback of a video, often only half of the bar representing the amount you've played has filled.

video playback skip five seconds button doesn't work
The skip five seconds buttons aren't working properly. Skipping forward by five seconds will often skip back significantly the first time you click it instead of properly skipping from the current place in the video.

Feature Request: Variable Video Speed Playback Option
The video lessons are lovely but they're pretty slow paced and didactic. It would be great if we could control the speed of playback the way you can on most online video platforms today. Alternatively, non-native English speakers may prefer to have the videos play more slowly as well. Typical speed offerings on other platforms are .5x-2.x.
