Volume controls
Looking for more control over volumes. The count in and especially the metronome. On previous version you could control the volume in this version it is either on or off. In my opinion when it is on, it is too loud. I am using windows 10 on a x360 HP laptop.

accompaniment sync is terrible
The audio accompaniment isn't sync'd to the scroll bar. Timing is over half a beat out, so you are forced to play notes 1/2 - 3/4 of a beat early to get the app to show you you've hit the right notes. If you play BY EAR, according to the audio accompaniment, then you'll be over half a beat late, and whilst it will sound right to your ear, the app will tell you every note is wrong/missed.
Tested same part in current app, no issues with timing.

User Preferences
I think it would be a huge benefit to be able to set "user preferences". example-- I don't like using backing tracks but it defaults to on and I have to go in an manually turn them off for each section, lesson song etc. If I could set the user preference to not use backing tracks than that would be a huge help and a lott more effecient. The same with other features such as piano volume, metronome, speed, etc. All these can be set to user preferences/user defaults to personalize the user experience without having to change these with…

Delay whilst running through audio interface
Windows 10 os version 19044.1586
I run my audio via a Focusrite 2i2 interface. The new app has a sound delay that wasn't there previously. I can turn the volume back up on my piano and the studio monitors off and all is fine, but it would be good to get a fix for this.

Mark Purchased Songs in the Shop's Song List
Hey guys, the new app seems to me a bit like MS Office 2007 compared to MS Office 2003 - claimed to be completely different, but in fact quite the same than before. However, I was already ok with the old app, in general. BUT:
The main reason why I haven't purchased many songs, so far: I'd like to see in the Song List of the store, which songs I've already purchased.

space bar start stop
I love the space bar to start and stop, however, when I complete a lesson and the window box for completing the lesson is still open on top of the main lesson window, it might be nice to make it so pressing the space bar doesn't start the lesson while the pop-up box is open.

Feedback Evaluation Thresholds & Minimum MS are missing
Controls for setting the sensitivity of feedback are missing. In current ship these are located under 'Advanced Settings' -> Feedback Evaluation. I'm hoping these just haven't been added in yet and that their absence is not a design choice. These settings are critical to making the app more enjoyable and the learning experience more satisfying.

Instant Feedback ON/OFF
Instant Feedback has always had a switch to toggle it off. The reason I hear most is that students find it distracting when they hit some red notes, sometimes to the point of not being able to continue. The problem is that when you turn off Instant Feedback, you don't get to see where your mistakes are. When the scoring window is presented at the end of PLAY, it should also post all the green/red/pink notes on the notation screen. The student wants to see where they made mistakes and zero in on that section for practice.

Number of completed sections on lesson selection screen
The iPad beta removed some very useful information. After I and others complained, some was put back but in a very inconsistent manner and some is still missing.
Specifically, the list that gives all the sections of a lesson, course. or song, used to always show the amount completed such as "0 of 9", "4 of 7", "12 of 12". There are various reasons why all 3 of these are useful. Seeing the numbers for lessons not started is very useful. For example, say you have enough practice time for a short lesson but the next lesson is "0 of…

Set Piano volume level to zero
Use application normally to practice.
Decide you need to hear what it is supposed to sound like. Using hands control, enable left, right, or both hands.
Press ‘Play’
No piano sounds are played. Expected piano sounds to play.
To make this work I must turn on the ‘hands’ control AND then also open settings to set a volume level for the piano sound. My expectation was that selecting that I want to hear the app play the piece using the ‘hands’ control, should automatically set the volume level…7 votes -

measure repeat
On the original version I was able to select and practice a certain measure or set of measures, and have on repeat. On the beta version you're unable to select specific measures. You can select a starting point but not an ending point, it just plays through the end of the song.

Feedback does not respect state of sustain pedal.
Play song “Speak Softly Love” with feedback enabled
When reaching last 3 measures, strike the two notes and hold down keys. Notes are displayed as green. Then press sustain pedal & release keys. Subsequent measures displayed in red which is incorrect.

Accuracy of notes has much less tolerances for error than previous app
It feels like I get marked down for the accuracy of notes even though I believe I have played them accurately. If I play the same piece in the old app I get marked perfectly for accuracy. Has the criteria changed for accuracy? It seems much less tolerant now, to the point where I find it almost impossible to get 100% accuracy.
