Smaller icons option for courses/lessons/song menus
Need an option for smaller icons for courses/lessons/song menus. For instance, on the bootcamp rookie lessons, I can only see 6 options on a screen at a time out of 90+. That's a lot of scrolling. Courses is worse as I can only see 3 selections on the screen at one time. The added detail is nice, but smaller options are preferred for the smaller laptop screen (13") I use at the piano.

Custom feedback color settings are missing
In current ship, the feedback colors could be set via Advanced Settings. This feature appears to be missing from the new application.

Next Button doesn't work at end of "Full Song Practice"
Next Button doesn't work at end of "Full Song Practice"
At the end of a Full Song Practice, clicking on the Next button on the popup window causes the app busy indicator to just spin. It does not advance to the Full Song Performance lesson.5 votes -
Can't stay signed in. Doesn't even pre-fill login
I have to enter login credentials every time, even typing my user name every time. Should have options.

Using keyboard transport controls
My keyboard, a Novation Launchkey, has transport control buttons. It would be extremely useful if it was possible to start (restart) and stop a lesson from the keyboard rather than having to use the mouse. I can do this in Melodics.

Enhancement Request to assign MIDI Notes to Transport Controls
Operating System = Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, SP1
Computer = Intel Core i7 CPU @3.40GHz, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro M4000
Keyboard = Roland RD-88I would like to see User Assigned MIDI Note Values for controlling the Transport Buttons like:
Start/Stop
Jump to Next Lesson
Jump to Previous Lesson
Start/Stop Looping
Etc.Please do not hard code the MIDI Notes. Leave them to be assigned by the user. Someone with an 88-key keyboard may want to assign C1# to go back to the Previous Lesson and D1# to advance to the Next Lesson.
This would also make Playground Sessions compatible…

Video timeline appears over user keyboard display
The new layout superimposes the video timeline over the user's keyboard display so that you cannot see the notes keyboard. Maximizing the screen doesn't help as the user keyboard is still 'pushed' to the bottom (the white space above the keyboard increase - which serves absolutely NO user purpose) and remains hidden behind the video timeline overlay.

Incorrect information in dashboard
- Playing time is incorrect in dashboard. Specifically noted that it shows 0 for songs with the last 7 days filter after I was working on songs.
- Stars earned toward next free song credit are incorrect. Count differs from current playground app

yamaha device driver
With the previous version of the software I needed to go to audio devices and choose type: ASIO, device: Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO. Since the beta software is missing that configuration I believe this is causing latency issues causing me to turn off piano sounds.

Differ missed notes from improperly played notes
When playing a wrong note both the note that was missed and the incorrect note that was played are drawn with the same red note head.
This makes it difficult to tell what the correct not was to understand and fix the problem.
This is particularly troublesome when both notes make sense - for example, when the same note pattern occurs multiple times with subtle differences.

scroll bar includes keyboard image
Windows 10 laptop. The scroll bar includes the key board. This means I can't scroll down to see the complete song. I still can use arrows to see the full song. But this makes no sense to me. The keyboard image is very long, so there is always a scroll bar because of this.

can't remove finger numbers
I can't remove the finger numbers any longer. I only like to use them as a reference, not have them permanently.

App plays swing rhythms straight.
When the app plays the piano automatically (both hands), it does not play it in a swing rhythm in sheets that are notated to be played in swing. This is also a problem in the old app.

Note detection is too Sensitive.
The note detection seems to be too sensitive. Playing FurElise in the new Rookie songs in production version i got a 100% score, but in the beta version my scores were between 40% and 60%. Something is off here. Running on a Yoga Pro 2.

Cursor movement speed should be consistent
While new proportional measure width looks great for displaying music, it causes the playback cursor to speed up on wide measures and slow down for narrow measures. While I try to rely on the metronome and backing track for timing, seeing the cursor suddenly speed up gives an unintended visual cue that the tempo has changed.

Metronome resolution - only in increments of 5
Metronome does not have same resolution as in production version. The metronome only increments or decrements by 5 with each + or - press. There is no ability to enter the exact speed you want. The units is selected by the preset version.

wrong note due to hitting computer letter
In a bootcamp lesson I accicentally hit the letter C on my laptop while I was trying to hit the space bar to start the count. From then on, as the lesson counted in, a C was marked as played in error about 2 measures ahead. This was before any actual key was struck on the piano, and happened multiple times. I tried going to a different lesson and then back to the one I was on, and the same thing happened. It resolved when I exited and re-entered Playground Sessions app.
