Different bar lengths are confusing . No statistics hinders tracking on going performance.
I think the different physical lengths of the bars makes it harder to read the music. I find the statistics provided by the previous version valuable to track one’s progress. It would be better if the zoom control was as before rather than being increments of 10%. Why no dashboard.

The spacebar behaves strangely as a hotkey (MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) - macOS 12.2.1)
Pressing the spacebar starts the playhead moving, but it doesn't start the backing track, the play button at the top of the page doesn't turn into a pause button, and the playback is unpredictable. Sometimes the playback starts at the beginning, sometimes it starts at the beginning but then marks notes later in the piece as incorrect, sometimes it starts in the middle of the piece. Additionally, it seems to register as an incorrectly played note- the E♭, 6 spaces above the top of the bass clef staff.

full song performance
In the old Mac app, the "Full Song Practice" always kept your highest score, but the "Full Song Performance" always kept your LAST score, even it if was lower than your record. That could be frustrating if you were just having a bad day -- your previous high score would be lost. It would be nice to have the "Full Song Performance" score always be your highest score like all the other segments.

Song View
In the old app, the full song view would look like the printed score, making it easier to read the music, anticipating the next line, etc. If you zoomed in, it simply made the entire score a little larger, but it did not change where the measures appeared on the page. I find the newer app much more confusing because the song reads like a long continuous line, instead of a consistent sheet of music. Can you at least have a button to choose how you would like to read the music?

Keyboard at the Bottom of the Screen
When playing a lesson at a 16:9-ish aspect ration the piano at the bottom of the screen has the number and note overlapping each other making them unreadable. When the window is narrow and tall the keys become very tall and skinny.

Add a new 'Loop All' button
In the current version the loop button loops the entire lesson/section but the beta method means you have to mark the section to loop - This is OK for small parts but a pain if it's in a longer piece so can we have a "loop all" function to save having to do this?

Doesn’t keep track of time played accurate
Needs to keep time correctly in dashboard of what you’ve played. Instead of just 7day, 30 day, etc, a daily tracker would help

Display as much information about settings as possible
There should be a status bar or something similar that provides as much information as possible and doesn't force users to check dropdowns to see settings. Examples: which playback hands are selected, tempo, metronome on/off, backing track on/off, etc.

Add Toolbar Button for Chord Reference Position
I believe that the "old" app placed chord references below the staff and the "new" app puts them in the middle of the staff. Suggest a user setting on the toolbar for this. Might consider off, above, between and below or even add a selection for guitar or other such notation that often appears with the chord reference.
