BPM
BPM cannot be input. Will be better if we can change the BPM by keying in the BPM we wanted.
The BPM increment should be in ascending or descending order. The jump in number is too much.

Capitalize "playground" in Playground Menu
To be consistent with other Mac apps, in the "Playground Sessions for Piano" menu, "Quit playground" and "Hide playground" "playground" should be "Playground"

Song View
In the old app, the full song view would look like the printed score, making it easier to read the music, anticipating the next line, etc. If you zoomed in, it simply made the entire score a little larger, but it did not change where the measures appeared on the page. I find the newer app much more confusing because the song reads like a long continuous line, instead of a consistent sheet of music. Can you at least have a button to choose how you would like to read the music?

Error Saving Your Practice
ERROR SAVING PRACTICE
After 2 hours of practice today I received this ERROR notice while it was trying to save my score:

I had never had this happen before.
After closing, the application hung up, with the "loading" graphic on the screen:

I had to close the application and reopen again

Keyboard at the Bottom of the Screen
When playing a lesson at a 16:9-ish aspect ration the piano at the bottom of the screen has the number and note overlapping each other making them unreadable. When the window is narrow and tall the keys become very tall and skinny.

loop function - highlight function
Option for "HIGHLIGHT" function in addition to loop function.
In the previous MAC Version 2.5.582 you can highlight a section to work on.
When you PLAY it provides feedback on the notes you got right, close or wrong. At the end it stops and does NOT loop. So you can view how you played and what notes need work. You can then hit the lowest and highest notes for it to start again. In the new BETA version, if you highlight a section it turns LOOP on AUTOMATICALLY. It provides feedback on how you played, except it loops immediately so…

Change finger number setting would be great.
The recommended finger number setting is great with new feature to see the note names too. Would be great for the older Mac App to have this feature. Really like it. Still hope that we can change the finger number when we wanted because it is a personal preference.

Initial Launch Window Display Issues
When I first installed and launched the Playground Sessions for Piano application the bottom of the window is cut off, it is not visible, and no scrollbars are available.
On the initial Keyboard Setup screen there is a scrollbar and there is a LARGE amount of whitespace between the login fields and the Start Keyboard Setup button.
Changing the window to be closer to a 4:3 aspect ratio on the Intro screens, there was not a height or width where the horizontal and vertical scrollbars were displayed. The vertical scrollbar covers up the close button in the top right of…

Add a new 'Loop All' button
In the current version the loop button loops the entire lesson/section but the beta method means you have to mark the section to loop - This is OK for small parts but a pain if it's in a longer piece so can we have a "loop all" function to save having to do this?

Volume settings don't work.
I setup my volume controls in settings but when I play the Hanon Exercise, the Metronome is at 80% volume and I have to change it every time I want to start playing. Very troublesome. Hopefully the volume settings can stay as what I have setup in volume settings.

MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.6When I open up the PGS Beta App I get a “Playground Sessions for Piano quit unexpectedly” Warning Box

The app doesn't actually quit. So I just close this box and use the app.
But it happens every time I open the Beta App.I have all the text details from the “Problem Details and System Configuration” box if you want me to send those.

Starting song from the beginning
After clearing the looping function, when I hit play, the cursor doesn't jump to the beginning of the song. Therefore, I need to stop playback, move to the top/beginning of the song, and hit play again.

Mac beta feedback
I am using Mac Big Sur 11.6.4 On a number of lessons eg rookie, lines treble clef, there are 2 issues. The first issue is - after the treble clef there is an odd stand alone line. The second issue is - the notes are doubled where they should not be (this is not for a chord) for example where you play a G, it comes up as GG. I noticed this on a couple of lessons on intermediate too.

The playback bar covers the onscreen keyboard (MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) - macOS 12.2.1)
In lessons that contain an onscreen keyboard (Prelude in C Challenge - Lesson 1, part 2 for example), the bottom of the keyboard and note names are covered up by the playback bar.

Dark Mode
The App need a "Dark Mode" setting.
I know this can be very difficult to add, specially on the music sheets.
But if you want us to spend long periods of time looking to a display with a white background, you should take in count that the blue light will cause symptoms of digital eyestrain. If we look to the competitor Melodics, this is not an issue.

Doesn’t keep track of time played accurate
Needs to keep time correctly in dashboard of what you’ve played. Instead of just 7day, 30 day, etc, a daily tracker would help
