Ability to change to a list view
Having the ability to change the views to a list view so you can see more at once in the lessons, courses, and songs sections versus just only the big thumbnails.

Overview not available like in the older Mac App.
The overview page like in the older Mac App is motivating. It shows my progress and the badges encourages me to keep on learning. Please include it in the app as well.
14 votesThe Dashboard is now available in the app.

Dark Mode
The App need a "Dark Mode" setting.
I know this can be very difficult to add, specially on the music sheets.
But if you want us to spend long periods of time looking to a display with a white background, you should take in count that the blue light will cause symptoms of digital eyestrain. If we look to the competitor Melodics, this is not an issue.

Ability to choose seeing song lesson progress view on the left
Ability to choose seeing song lesson progress view on the left versus having to go to top and select drop down menu and scroll down to lesson number - quicker and easier to select if already on the screen. You could make it hide if someone wants it out o the way.

Tied notes are incorrectly scored.
MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021), chip: Apple M1 Max, running Monterey. When the second note in a tied note is encountered, it is marked in red and scored as an error, even if I correctly hold the note the combined duration of the first and second notes. Thus, the Beta version of the app is, for me, unusable until this problem is fixed. I will be using the old app until this defect is corrected.

Improve on the current Mac App instead of changing it to the Ipad/Iphone App.
I really hope the team can work on improving the current Mac App instead of changing to the iPad/iPhone App on Mac.
Really love the Mac App and wish to carry on using it with improvement on it.

Tempo Dropdown
The new Tempo Dropdown menu works well.
However, I miss having the tempo I am using visible on the screen. When I am learning a new song or difficult lesson I slow the tempo way down and then increase it in increments.
When doing this it helps to be able to see what tempo I am at without having to go to a dropdown menu.

My Songs - sorting option and search needed
These two features are absolutely essential. Sort by artist name, track title, last played, date added, stars earned, and a search option too. As someone else mentioned, let us view as a smaller list too, not just the giant thumbnails.

Organization Ideas for 'Course' & 'My Song' Section
In the Course & My Song section:
1) option to view as list (icons take up a lot of space and force scrolling (time-waster))
2) ability to sort by name, level, etc.
3) Folder option to file songs (i.e, Xmas, current, future, etc)

Song Reverts to First Lesson, Not Next Lesson
When selecting a song I am part way through the lessons, I would prefer PGS to show me the next lesson I need to work on, not revert back to the first lesson.
Similarly, when selecting a song I have already completed all of the lessons and only want to play it, I would prefer to have "Performance" as the default.11 votes -
Video playback loops (MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) - macOS 12.2.1)
Video lessons are looping- when the video finishes, it restarts at the beginning instead of presenting a confirmation of completing the lesson and providing a way to move on to the next lesson.

Song View
In the old app, the full song view would look like the printed score, making it easier to read the music, anticipating the next line, etc. If you zoomed in, it simply made the entire score a little larger, but it did not change where the measures appeared on the page. I find the newer app much more confusing because the song reads like a long continuous line, instead of a consistent sheet of music. Can you at least have a button to choose how you would like to read the music?

Buttons in introductory dialogs display overlayed "tags" marked with letters
MacBook Pro (16-inch 2021), Apple M1 Max chip, running Monterey. Although this is only a cosmetic defect, it looks pretty strange. The letter 'C' is displayed on Previous buttons, 'D' on Next Buttons, and 'B' next to the 'X' in the upper-right corner of the dialogs used to exit the windows. Each letter is displayed within an icon that looks like a "tag". These letters don't seem to act as shortcut keys, but clicking on the tags does trigger their associated buttons.

The spacebar behaves strangely as a hotkey (MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) - macOS 12.2.1)
Pressing the spacebar starts the playhead moving, but it doesn't start the backing track, the play button at the top of the page doesn't turn into a pause button, and the playback is unpredictable. Sometimes the playback starts at the beginning, sometimes it starts at the beginning but then marks notes later in the piece as incorrect, sometimes it starts in the middle of the piece. Additionally, it seems to register as an incorrectly played note- the E♭, 6 spaces above the top of the bass clef staff.

last played
Please keep the Last Played date for My Songs that the old Mac app had. It helps me know which songs I haven't practiced in a while.

Different bar lengths are confusing . No statistics hinders tracking on going performance.
I think the different physical lengths of the bars makes it harder to read the music. I find the statistics provided by the previous version valuable to track one’s progress. It would be better if the zoom control was as before rather than being increments of 10%. Why no dashboard.

Prefer the zooming view of the older Mac App.
Somehow I feel the view of the Interactive Sheet Music on the older Mac App looks better. The zooming function also better than the New App.

Doesn’t keep track of time played accurate
Needs to keep time correctly in dashboard of what you’ve played. Instead of just 7day, 30 day, etc, a daily tracker would help

Previous score remains on screen when i hit the space bar.
When i finish playing a song my score show up on the screen. Next when I hit the space bar I can replay the song, but the score remains displayed on my screen, so I cannot see what to play. In the existing app the score disappears, similar as when hitting the C key on your keyboard.
